MJBL Book Club

MJBL has introduced a book club during the summer months for our participants in grades 1 - 12. Students who read books from the reading list and turn in their book reports will be eligible for various prizes.

Book Report Requirements

Grades 1 - 2 - Students are required to handwrite one paragraph on their favorite part of the book

Grades 3 - 6 - Students are required to submit a one page handwritten summary of the book

Grades 7 - 8 - Students are required to submit a one page typed summary of the book

Grades 9 - 12 - Students are required to submit a 2 - 3 page, double spaced 12 pt. font essay on the book's message and meaning

With the help of North Carolina A & T students, MJBL offers a tutorial program that helps our members with their homework and school

commissioner for other tutorial resources in your area.
