MJBL Book Club

MJBL has introduced a book club for our participants in grades 1 - 12. Students who read books from the reading list and turn in their book reports

will be eligible for various prizes.

Book Report Requirements

Grades 1 - 2 - Students are required to handwrite one paragraph on their favorite part of the book

Grades 3 - 6 - Students are required to submit a one page handwritten summary of the book

Grades 7 - 8 - Students are required to submit a one page typed summary of the book

Grades 9 - 12 - Students are required to submit a 2 - 3 page, double spaced 12 pt. font essay on the book's message and meaning

Send your completed book reports to bookclub@mjbl.org or send to P.O. Box 9841 Richmond, VA 23228. Please include your name,

your team name, your state, and your coach's name on the book report.

With the help of North Carolina A & T students, MJBL offers a tutorial program that helps our members with their homework and school

projects. To receive help, please send your question(s) to tutorial@mjbl.org. Please include your name, your coach's name and your phone number in your e-mail. MJBL members will receive a response within in 24 hours.
